| | i'm tired. it's late. simon flew to ohio to take care of paperwork, get his physical and check up on our house. i'm waiting for his call to tell me he landed ok. =)
here's a photo update of the lams:
finally got the chance to do bootie for a wedding. it was a fun relived moment of college cso semi days... hair and makeup (girl went daring and did purples! and straight back with some volume at the crown)
  
went to the nj state fair with aunties serena and jocelyn. n it was all nice and fun on line. then we got on the ferris wheel and were suspending in the air while the wind rocked our car. notice the forced, SCARED smiles!
  
simon's coworkers threw him a nice farewell party. usually it's a huge dinner, but simon opted for bowling and pizza instead. it turned out to be super fun and every had a great time!
just like the good ol' times, weber and simon (bc lillian works at nyp too, for those that didn't know...)
simon with his super supportive wife (haha!) - who bowled over 100 TWICE in one night (after not having bowled for like a decade!)

moving on... but still bowling... took ethan bowling. here he is with gung gung. boy bowled a 58 with no bumpers!
 
here, he knows this air vent is to dry off his hands to get a good grip. he does it each time before he picks up the ball. heehee!

WAIT! were you paying attention?! that was cameron, not ethan! =D they didn't have shoes his size, so he couldn't play. but he was so sad and so we let him sneak in one quick bowl. he threw the ball, tripped and fell down the lane. >_<
ok, enough bowling. here is another bride. my friend, jordan's bride. hair muse, jessica simpson, without the face framing tendrils. makeup, clean and classic, natural.
  
also, been helping serena prep some decorations for vbs. theme this year is hawaii, so i was painting some palm leaves the other day. thought it was a funny picture to see them all hanging on my mom's clothesline. =D her neighbors probably think she's crrrrazy, because the following day, ethan and i made and hung papier mache coconuts!
back tracking...
hmmm... left the kids with my mom so we could go paint our house a few weeks back. left the camera in the diaper bag with her. finally uploading pictures and found these cuties! my sons make cute girls. =P
 
did i ever tell you guys i like DIY projects? we threw james and allison an engagement party at our house before we moved out, and i arranged 8 vases of flowers to decorate our place. here are are two:
 
and i don't think i ever posted the finished product of our intense labor of repainting the house for our tenants. this is the day after simon stayed up all night shampooing our carpets and scrubbing the paint out with a toothbrush! ethan and i came to pick him up and found this brand new place! =D it looks fantastic, right??? (look, clean carpet lines!!!)
and then we brought ethan canoeing down the d&r canal. we like to have special days with our sons individually, if we can, to remind them of how they are special to us individually, and aren't just always "ethan and cameron ."
ethan wore his own life vest, "just like diego." =) checking out the canal.

he even got his own little oar, which was an awesome surprise (we had been prepping him that we'd have to work together bc the oar would be too heavy for him to hold himself...)!
silly daddy... 10 years later, and the guy still makes me laugh and my heart skip a beat... esp when he's silly like this with our kids. <3

just to prove i was there, here is a shot of me on the canoe. simon told ethan, "we men row. mommy... she just sits pretty." =D hey, at least he thinks i'm pretty!
and simon did not like me turning around and taking pictures, so "somehow" each time i did, i ended up in a tree or bush! here he is saying, "oh, how did that get there?"
and here is he with the tree attacking him bc he couldn't get us out of the mess. >_<
we saw this really huge turtle sitting on a log. simon got us REALLY close (right next to it too) but the camera wouldn't take the pictures for some reason and when it finally did, it had jumped into the water. this is the picture before it. ethan thought it was the coolest thing! a REAL live turtle - not just tuck on wonder pets! haha!

simon called. he landed safely. but his flight was delayed, so now he might not be able to pick up his rental car. =/ i guess there's always taxi service.
